We are able to offer a variety of insurance policies for both landlords and tenants, including the following:

Landlord Buildings & Contents Insurance

Covers the rebuilding of your property following loss or damage caused by fire, aircraft, smoke, malicious persons (excluding tenants), accidental damage to bathroom fixtures & fittings and glass, lightning, explosion, collision or impact, falling trees and earthquake, theft (by forcible means), subsidence, riot/civil commotion, storm, flood, escape of water or oil leakage and loss of rent up to 30% of the sum insured following damage. Also includes property owner's liability and contents cover is on a new for old basis.

Tenant Contents Insurance

Cover on a new for old basis for loss or damage caused by fire, aircraft, smoke, malicious persons, lightning, explosion, impact, theft (by forcible means), subsidence, riot/civil commotion, storm, flood, escape of water or oil leakage, breakage of mirrors or glass in furniture, replacement of locks following theft of keys. Also includes landlord's liability.

Owner Occupied Household Insurance

Many of our clients are so pleased with our landlord buildings and contents insurance cover that they choose to take out their own household insurance through ourselves as well.  The policy gives you flexible cover options. Buildings & Contents cover are available on their own or combined. There is an extra discount if you take out both buildings and contents insurance combined. Personal belongings cover can be included where you have contents cover. Benefits include legal liability to the public and alternative accommodation and there is an option to include accidental damage cover.

Portfolio Insurance

Our brokers are specialists in the property insurance field and we are therefore able to provide very competitive quotes for portfolio clients with two or more properties, where a block policy may prove to be more competitive than separate individual policies for each let property.

Rental Protection and Legal Expenses Insurance

We take every precaution to ensure that your interests are fully protected. Unfortunately, however thorough we are in vetting prospective tenants even the most exemplary individuals may be unable to pay the rent, perhaps due to redundancy or illness.  Our annual policy is £98.70 (including Insurance Premium Tax) and this policy may only be taken with our full management or let only service where PWR Property Consultants complete the tenant referencing.
